Spectus fabricators Highseal Windows Ltd showed off their
product range,
credentials & accreditations at June's Chartered Institute
of Housing (CIH) exhibition
in Harrogate. Visitors to the stand included architects,
specifiers and social housing
residents, with particular interest shown in Highseal's
BFRC 'C' rating (on Elite 70
bevelled and ovolo casements) and the extra-secure MK111
Maco Shoot Bolts
and BS7950 Anti-Jemmy Device.
The stand also showcased Spectus's vertical sliding sash
window and a grey foil
fully reversible window, suitable for high-rise properties
where access for cleaning
is restricted. Highseal has also recently invested in a
new spray painting and
oven plant facility so now even more colours are on offer.
Michael H. Windsor, Commercial Manager of Highseal, comments:
"Always an
excellent networking event, CIH was well-attended, particularly
on Wednesday and
Thursday. Social housing is an increasingly important market
for us - we supply
70,000 windows & doors and 80,000 sealed glazing units
a year to the public sector
and are aiming to grow further. Spectus supported us throughout
the show, helping
with stand design and supplying marketing materials.
Michael adds: "We've had a lot of experience in undertaking
large, long-term projects,
but are equally comfortable with small scale refurbishment
of new build - it was great
to be able to share our experience with visitors to our
stand. And by continuing to
improve and expand our product range, our offering to housing
associations
and local authorities keeps getting better."
